HELLO!

We are the graduating class of 2017 in the Bachelor of Interior Design program at KPU. As a cohort, we are an enthusiastic, curious and creative group that exemplifies leadership, teamwork and dedication. This website features our work (so far) and our experience in Barcelona during our field studies.

The Bachelor of Interior Design (IDSN) program is one of seven design programs offered by the prestigious Chip & Shannon School of Design at Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU). Located at KPU’s Richmond Campus, IDSN students undergo an intensive four-year education on the built environment. As a CIDA accredited program, students learn practical design skills and technical knowledge that can be applied to a professional career as an interior designer upon graduation.

IDSN students engage in an intensive field study in another country as a part of the third-year curriculum. This year, the IDSN class of 2017 will be in Barcelona, Spain for ten days from May 15th to May 25th, 2016. This field study will assimilate design theory and knowledge with respect to the context of site, culture, climate and geography. Students and instructors attend and participate in scheduled activities at design/architecture firms, buildings and interior spaces, design schools and programs, museums and galleries and other significant locations of the region.
