COSETTE RAMSAY

I recently spent 6 months living in the United Kingdom on an exchange semester which has hugely informed my perspective on the built environment and life in general. I enjoy studying interior design because it blends creativity with technical thinking, and good design can truly enhance people’s quality of life. I approach each project with the aim of improving the way a person feels when occupying the space, and I strive to bring simple and charming details into each of my designs to make spaces a pleasure to occupy. Over the course of this past year I was heavily involved in a project with 17 other design and architecture students to build warming hut structures for the 2016 TED conference in Vancouver. This project was fun because it not only involved creative design and problem solving but we also built the structures ourselves, which was really fulfilling. I love clever design, photography, exploring new places near and far, and would consider myself a foodie.
