Barcelona and I had a rocky start with each other. With my flight delayed 2 hours AFTER boarding (forcing me to be late for our course and use up some expensive data on my phone) and no one quite understanding my English accent, I arrived immediately wanting to go home. However, I quickly ended up changing my mind about this city after meeting with up with the class and spending the next 10 days exploring every beautiful part of Barcelona. It's not only the variety of architecture the city has to offer, but it's the energy and the culture that really makes the city incredible. Between the mountains and the ocean, the city fits so perfectly between these natural borders, making it seem a bit like home, yet completely foreign and new. I'm inspired after visiting the city and seeing everything it has to offer, and I haven't stopped talking about it since. I miss you, BCN, and we'll be seeing each other soon.
